I was born and raised in Germany, but spent a good part of my childhood in the backseat of my parents’ 1983 Volkswagen camper van, visiting all sorts of places. This is how I developed my passion for discovering new countries and cultures.
Some years after the camper van adventures and whilst at university, I spent a year abroad and absolutely loved it. One of the countries I went to during my studies was Tunisia, and I decided that this was where I wanted to live – so I re-located permanently after graduating in 2015.
It has definitely been my best decision so far and I can now wear sandals in winter!
